Juvenile Justice Therapist

The Juvenile Justice Therapist provides intensive and routine individual, family, community-based treatment, skills training, therapy, and case management services to address the multiple determinants of serious antisocial behavior in juvenile offenders and to assure adherence to all MHMR and Juvenile Probation standards. You will spend a great amount of time at the In this job, you will use initiative and independent judgement to provide intervention in the community with the individuals assigned, their families, and services providers. This role provides all services for youth and their caregivers in a manner that is individualized, trauma-informed, culturally, and linguistically competent. You will impact youth, families, and the community by collaborating with partners to ensure needs are met while strengthening youth and family resiliency and knowledge and working toward reducing recidivism.

 The average salary for this position is 32.00 for fully licensed and 27.00 for provisionally licensed

Minimum qualifications: Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health.  Licensed in Texas as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A).  Spanish-speaking preferred.
