Program Summary

Come join a small but mighty internal services department! Some of our work includes developing complex budget and fiscal year-end reports and documents, supporting the management of grant funds, overseeing financial systems and processes, and identifying areas for process improvements. We are looking for a talented student or recent graduate who wants to gain real-world experience and develop essential skills while learning from budget experts.

What you will do:

  • Collect data and analyze trends
  • Develop reporting dashboards to support strategic decisions
  • Help identify key issues and make recommendations to the budget team
  • Initiate, attend, and participate in budget meetings and work sessions
  • Provide a management level presentation at the end of term on your projects and intern experience

What you will bring:

  • At least one year of school completed and are working toward a bachelor’s degree
  • Desired Major(s): Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, Economics or related field
  • Self-motivated and curious with a growth mindset
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • High integrity with the ability to handle confidential information and data appropriately

This is a level 1 internship position with an hourly rate of $20.00.
