The General Manager is responsible for using exceptional leadership skills to lead a team of engaged professionals.  This position will facilitate the culture of East West Hospitality by building enduring relationships with all of its stakeholders.  The GM is responsible for the overall operations including Association and Rental Program including front office, engineering and housekeeping.  They will cultivate and maintain genuine relationships that result in exceptional guest and employee experiences.  This role also works closely with the finance, sales & marketing, owner services and human resources teams. This resort executive must utilize an effective, collaborative and transparent communication style to liaise with ownership, management company and individual owners within the resort.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure a positive guest and owner experience by coordinating various departments effectively (Supports - but does not directly oversee - The Charter's Food and Beverage operation). Assist department managers in decision-making and goal-setting, monitoring progress regularly. Develop and uphold clear operating standards for all departments to meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Support the Accounting Team in executing all financial tasks accurately and timely, including budgeting and reporting to the Board of Managers and Owners. 
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure property projects align with the Board's directives.
  • Facilitate meetings for the Board of Directors and homeowners, serving as an informational resource and overseeing strategic decision-making. Maintain compliance with Association Governing Documents and Policies, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Create and manage an after-hours Manager on Call program to respond to emergencies and ensure safety protocols are in place.

Location: The Charter, Beaver Creek, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay: $115,000-$135,000 depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, plus other times as needed

  • 3+ years experience directly managing guest service, staff, and departmental expenses
  • 5+ years of direct hospitality experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Proficient in property management systems, email, MS Office suite and social media.
