Department Manager (Table & Vine)
• Achieve all operations and sales objectives/goals for assigned area (e.g. contribution, budget, gross profit, productivity, inventory management, merchandising/signage, price checks/changes, promotions/contests, etc.).
• Monitor, order, receive and maintain department product and/or supplies using appropriate tools.
• Ensure proper department conditions (e.g., shelf, case, sales floor, backroom, freezer, and cooler, etc.).
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment/machinery, tools, and workstations.
• Build relationships with and educate our customers in order to create sales.
• Recruit, interview and select employees, while mirroring the community we serve.
• Supervise, direct, set goals and delegate tasks using independent judgment.
• Create weekly scheduled shifts while controlling payroll costs.
• Arrange for ongoing training and communication with all employees working within assigned area.
• Cultivate growth through the cross-development of high potential employees.
• Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes.
• Handle conflict and counsel employees that require disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
• Previous management experience preferred.

• Ability to demonstrate a passion for alcohol and food through interactive sales techniques.
• Willingness to learn and perform other managerial roles throughout the store as assigned.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership through his or her own example.
