More about this role:
The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing effective and client-focused services that increase member usage, retention, and results. The Massage Therapist helps build the Spa business through providing high-end Spa services, customized upgrades, presenting and securing customized home-use products, actively driving events, calling former Spa clients and “Non-Members” to get them back in, and to ensure that all clients are presented with membership options. The Massage Therapist’s interaction with members directly contributes to member retention and satisfaction. The Massage Therapist role achieves success through embodying our core competencies (Create a TSI Environment, Build a High Performing Team, Achieve Measurable Results).

Responsibilities include:
- Modeling and promoting our guiding principles through the Clubhouse Rules.
- Reviewing and adhering to all TSI documents including but not limited to policies and procedures, employee handbook, state supplement, codes of conduct, etc.
- Makes confirmation calls to clients and follows up with anyone who doesn’t show for appointments within 15 minutes.
- Starting services on time, confirming the services they are providing, and ending services on time.
- Executes Spa protocols as directed and includes Total Woman signature touches with all services.
- Executes the Spa tactics as directed, including special events and demonstrations.
- Maintain treatment room to State Board rules and regulation standards.
- Must obtain and provide a copy of State/City licensing for personnel file.
- Massage Therapist is responsible for renewal of all licensing, and providing renewal licenses for personnel file.

Responsibilities include:
- Follow all Total Woman protocols to provide customized, safe, effective and high quality services.
- Provide all clients with the latest techniques including but not limited to:
- Specific body massage, treatment and/or wrap utilizing the Total Woman signature touches.
- Manually manipulate muscles and soft tissue to relieve pain and stress.
- Giving a relaxing massage and/or therapeutic massage.
- Maintaining a calm and soothing environment that enables the client to relax.
- Attend all required training for staff to keep up to date with current trends.
- Remains within the Massage Therapist’s scope of practice.
- Follows back-bar policies to provide clients with the products according to protocols and to minimize waste.
- Follows the professional standards including dress code, company policies, Spa policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Achieve Measurable Results

Responsibilities include:
- Ensure accurate billing for services rendered including upgrades.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of all current retail products, services, pricing, and promotions offered so that all services and sales are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
- Works collaboratively with the Spa team to meet department goals.
- Ensure schedule correctly reflects daily availability as agreed upon with your Supervisor and/or General Manager.
- Executes any individual or team plans to increase results.
- Consistently meets minimum sales expectations, 80%+ utilization, and technical expectations.
- Displays ability to upgrade at least 25% of services rendered.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years experience in a Spa setting preferred.
- Hold and maintain a current permit and/or license to practice in the state/city in which you are working.
- Ability to proficiently use our POS and membership system, timekeeping any other computer programs required to meet the business needs of the customer and TSI.
- Child & Adult AED/CPR certified.
- Sets priorities and manages time wisely.
- Member and client focused.
- Training and experience in sales is required.
- Physical demands include ability to lift up to 20 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations, walk through all areas of the club, climbing stairs (where applicable), and bending and lifting (e.g. picking up towels, restacking weights, moving equipment as needed). The company reserves the right to change them as business needs require and that jobs may require other tasks as assigned to the employee by the company.
Scheduling Requirements
Available to work 5-6 hours shifts at least 3 days per week including nights, weekends, and holiday
