Activities Assistants are an important part of the Linden House team. 

Activity Assistants in our 24-bed secured Memory Care Unit  implement social and recreational therapeutic activities designed to meet resident interests, preferences, and needs of Memory Care residents at Linden House.  Positive Approach to Care techniques are used to enhance the quality of daily life and minimize disruptive behavior. 

1 year of experience working with seniors providing social or recreational activities is preferred.  Experience working with individual with memory impairment highly desired.                    

Must desire and participate in training as needed to utilize PAC (Positive Approach to Care) techniques to enhance quality of life for memory impaired residents.    

Must possess the ability and desire to work in a pet-friendly environment to include performing job duties in the presence of pets, handling and caring for pets as may be required, and cleaning up after pets as necessary.    

Must genuinely enjoy the company of and frequent social interaction with senior adults with memory care needs.
