Warehouse Team Lead

Under the direction of shift supervisor and/or other designated lead personnel the Industrial Athlete person (forklift operator) assists customers in selecting the inventory needed, loads delivery trucks and follows established policies and procedures.

• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the Cross Dock crew, reports to Shift Supervisor
• Responsible for supervising and working crew members including assigning work, pulling pallets out of the racks, training on Cross Dock procedures, and reviewing quality of work until warehouse Supervisor arrives
• Supervise and unloading of trailers
• Secure drop trailers
• Prepare trailer for return
• Oversee distribution of freight
• Supervise removal of pallets and placed in proper Cross Dock area
• Check in security totes
• Communicate with Distribution Center to report issues with shipments
• Complete and submit necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Oversee housekeeping duties, assist as necessary
• Ensure compliance with Academy policies and procedures to maintain a safe, productive environment for associates and customers
• Team Lead responsibilities when assigned
• Required to learn company policies and procedures
• Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Previous related work experience required.
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
