We are seeking Production Floaters to join our hard working and fast-paced team. A Floater is responsible for scaling and measuring all ingredients needed for dough and batter production.  Must be able to follow a recipe and pay close attention to detail throughout the mixing process while monitoring mixing times, dough temperatures and dough consistency.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Produce various batters by mixing recipes, setting up machines, operating machines, lifting product, and measuring ingredients
  • Maintain a clean work area by scraping machines, washing, using hot-water hose, squeegee, bucket and towel as needed
  • Removal of all garbage, cardboard and waste as needed
  • Checking times, temperatures and weights of all batters
  • Make corrections as needed for out of specification product
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English language (Bi-lingual a plus)
  • Lift objects (eg: mix) of various dimensions chest high up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Conduct visual inspections and read/follow recipes
  • Understand, follow, perform and communicate TGFB Allergen program and Allergen cleaning requirements
  • Stand, walk, climb ladders to dump mix, and move rapidly for extended periods of time.
  • Bend, stoop, balance, crouch, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, perform repetitive movements and reach frequently
  • Handle bakery ingredients.
  • Perform basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiple) and compute weights and measures.
  • Perform duties with mental alertness involving potential hazards with respect to baking procedures, equipment, and work aides.
  • Respond to audible timers on mixing and baking equipment.
  • Perform around equipment and product emitting heat (approximately 400 degrees).
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures and department policies that apply.
  • Perform primary duties with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Wear hats, hairnets, gloves, and other personal protective equipment as required
