Corporate Legal Counsel - The Corporate Counsel handles legal matters for the company including contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, real estate, employment law, and litigation.  The Corporate Counsel duties include negotiating, drafting and interpreting contracts, and assisting management in the negotiation of terms, minimizing risk, and protecting the company’s interests; collaborating with business teams to standardize contract forms and increase efficiency of deal execution; ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and ethical standards that affect business activities; working with outside counsel in connection with litigation and regulatory proceedings; training/educating employees on regulatory and process matters; and working collaboratively with the Legal team and management throughout the organization.

 

Workers Comp Claims Adjuster - Initiate investigation of accidents involving employees.  Establish and monitor the cash reserve for each claim to reflect the company’s financial risk exposure.  Mitigates claim costs and expense while still providing fair and appropriate claims handling

J.D. degree; 3+ years experience at law firm

Preferred MA/CT Bar 

 

Workers Comp Claims Adjuster - Verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision, excellent computer skills (word/ excel), detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, well-developed people skills, and able to maintain confidentiality.
