WMH Quality and Risk Manager

Provides assistance to the Director of Risk/Corporate Compliance and is responsible for supporting the quality, risk and compliance programs for the hospital.  In addition, responsible for duties of patients representative and the overall hospital quality program.  Will assist in providing day to day management of administrative services.  Participates in formulating policy and organizational changes as directed.

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with current licensure AND a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;
• (can be BS degree preferred)
• Requires certification as a Healthcare Risk Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Must be detail oriented;
• Requires ability to shift between several duties simultaneously and maintain continuity;
• Familiarity and understanding of medical terminology;
• Advanced computer knowledge;
• Knowledge of Department of Health Standards.
• Familiarity with DNV accreditation standards preferred
• Two (2) years of experience in a health risk management setting preferred.
