Summary: The Ecommerce Coordinator, reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, is responsible for the ecommerce business and digital marketing initiatives for the LA Phil Stores. This hands-on role is tasked with product merchandising, content updates, sales and product launches and digital marketing to drive online sales growth and maximize site performance. This highly collaborative position requires close coordination with retail and marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute all operational activities necessary for the smooth functioning of the ecommerce platform, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with LA Phil brands including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl and The Ford
  • Develop and implement effective retail ecommerce merchandising strategies to optimize sales and customer engagement
  • Prepare product listings by coordinating images, writing copy and creating graphics 
  • Design branded site graphics to enhance online and in-store sales and engagement
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Own the retail marketing calendar and collaborate with the marketing team for email, social campaigns, product launches and promotions
  • Interface with support partners for troubleshooting technical issues and site improvements 
  • Monitor key performance metrics and utilize data insights to optimize the ecommerce operation
  • Identify industry trends and proactively lead the effort to continually identify areas for improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in operating and growing a retail ecommerce business 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, results driven
  • Visual storyteller proficient in merchandising and retail marketing
  • Excellent collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced, team environment and is comfortable with last minute changes
  • Strong understanding of Magento, Shopify, Photoshop and Counterpoint POS
