Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant with Child & Family Services supports medical clinic staff with admitting and caring for children and youth ages 6 -17 years old.  In this role, you will obtain vital signs, medical history, assess current needs, and explain treatment plans.  You are responsible for completing orders and supporting documentation into the electronic health record.  The medical assistant should be someone who is friendly, organized, and accurate, who communicates well, and uses a nurturing, trauma-informed approach in interactions with youth and families and focuses on strengthening resiliency of children and youth while in care.  The Medical Assistant is cross trained for duties within the clinic and is flexible enough to fill in as requested.  Come join our team and make a lasting impact on children and youth in our community.

 

Minimum qualifications: High school diploma/GED and Medical Assistant Certificate from CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NRCMA/NAHP.  1 year experience as MA preferred; Spanish-speaking a plus.
