Description 

The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for job duties that include but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs maintenance and operation of dialysis equipment and supplies
  • Initiate dialysis and care for patients  during dialysis treatments 
  • Maintains inventory and a rotation system of reuse supplies
  • Assists nurses in monitoring dialysis patients and equipment
  • Instruct patients in self-care to prevent complications between dialysis visits
  • Maintains accurate patient records
  • Communicates and transfers patient information to the appropriate personnel
Minimum Requirements 

Qualification:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • LPN or MA preferred.
  • The qualified candidate must be certified as a Dialysis Technician after 18 months of hire to satisfy federal requirements.
  • Must be capable of working in close relationships with other colleagues and patients with chronic care needs.
