Housing Works fights for funding and legislation to ensure that all people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, among other lifesaving services. 

We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion, based on your salary. Staff begins accruing PTO immediately for a total of up to 30 days earned in the first year. We offer employees an educational benefit. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.

Compensation Range: $23/hr - $24/hr commensurate with experience


The Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the clinic, including billing components, scheduling, documentation, and reporting. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.



  • Facilitate efficient scheduling of patient appointments across all clinics.
  • Monitor and enforce No Show Policy and Procedures.
  • Provide coverage and support for the Patient Care Coordinator as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and client concessions.
  • Coordinate mail pickups/deliveries, including delivery of Checks to the Finance Department.
  • Oversee scanning and organization of documents in electronic systems.
  • Greet visitors and arrange interviews/meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable office space.
  • Provide administrative support to Health Center Director and Associate Director of Healthcare Operational Systems.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating coverage between clinics.
  • Ensure optimal customer service and de-escalate clinic concerns.
  • Coordinate staff training in customer service and de-escalation.
  • Prepare and facilitate daily hurdles in the absence of the RN with clinical staff.
  • Process incoming mail, including medical records requests.
  • Oversee patient registration and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Coordinate interpreter services for non-English-speaking patients.
  • Participate in data collection and reporting.
  • Assist with front desk duties and scheduling appointments.
  • Provide additional support to office staff as needed.
  • Oversee scheduling within the EMR system.
  • Coordinate appointment follow-ups and clinic inventory.
  • Supervise non-clinical support staff.
  • Ensure accuracy of registration and insurance information.
  • Coordinate subpoenas through Compliance Officer.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of necessary items.
  • Prepare for internal meetings and audits.
  • Ensure accuracy of patient information in EMR.
  • Collaborate with community partners to maximize patient visits.
  • Participate in quarterly advocacy efforts.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations.
  • Escalate clinical or operational issues as necessary.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of billing and collections systems.
  • Proficiency in eCW EMR system and data collection.
