Security Guard

Candidate will ensure the safety and security of the patients, staff, visitors, plant, and equipment through preventive action and by enforcing all established security procedures.

64 hours per bi-weekly pay period - 11 pm - 7 am shift

Prior security/law enforcement experience and completion of Act 235 (without firearm) preferred.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively; Good interpersonal skills; Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.
 

Physical Standards:
Constantly:  (Exists 75% or more of the time) Walking (approximately 95% of the time)
Frequently:  (Exists 25-75% of the time) Standing; walking; reaching (overhead, forward, lateral, low); stooping (bend at waist); crouching (bend at knees); kneeling; climbing; crawling; twisting; balance; other
Occasionally: (Exists 5- 25% of the time) Sitting (with and without back support); lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 0 - > 100 lbs (help is available); operating motor vehicles.
Rarely: (Exists < 5% of the time) Operating machinery; exposure to radiation, vibration, chemical hazards, infect hazards, moving machinery, slippery surfaces, dust (ie asbestos); fumes (respiratory protection required); noise (hearing protection required); physical hazards (excess. heat/cold)
Sensory Requirements: Visual: close paperwork, VDT used; Hearing: conversation, monitoring equipment, telephone, background noise; and sensory discrimination.
