Cleaning/Janitorial Associate

· Keep the store in immaculate condition, shelves, floors, etc.

· Respond promptly to maintenance calls by attending to spills, breakage and other incidents.

· Maintain sanitation and supplies of all restrooms.

· Assigned tasks include: sweeping and mopping floors, replacing light bulbs, cleaning windows, emptying trash and garbage cans and other jobs required as store needs.

· Properly handle products and equipment and follow sanitation practices for food safety guidelines.

Physical Demands

· Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for majority of time on duty.

· Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

· Work with cleaning solutions and chemicals.

· Use of basic tools and equipment such as a ladder, compactor, bailer and other power equipment.

· Ability to wear company uniform and maintain a groomed appearance.

Skills Requirements:

· Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.

· Must be capable of learning to operate necessary equipment.

· Must be able to properly use necessary cleaning supplies and hazardous materials.

· Excellent time management skills.
