RoNetco ShopRite – Summer Intern
The RoNetco internship focuses on Retail Operations Management in a big box retail grocery store. The program provides education and learning of our inventory and computer-generated ordering systems. It also allows students to work hands-on both in departments and with the management team in our stores.
The retail operations internship is focused on key operational standards which include:
- Inventory management
- Computer Generated Ordering system
- Sales and Profitability
- Facilities and Safety
- People Leadership
- Efficient Retail Operations/Managing production, waste and loss
- Budgeting and Payroll Management
Candidates will be expected to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends and occasionally a 6-day workweek and be willing to travel to all RoNetco locations in Northwest New Jersey (ShopRites of Netcong, Byram, Flanders, Newton, Mansfield, Succasunna, Sparta, Sussex, Franklin). This is a full-time paid internship.
The RoNetco Internship Program will run for 10 weeks from June – August. Candidates must be available throughout the duration of the program and let RoNetco CHQ know about any scheduled vacations during the interview process.
Ideal candidates have a college focus in Business, Entrepreneurship, Management, Supply Chain, Communications or other business-related fields.
At the conclusion of the program, students will be expected to present their findings and recommendations to our Co-President/Owner and the Director of Operations.
Successful assessment of performance after the conclusion of the internship may lead to an offer of employment.
