Residential Program Manager - Cedar Ridge

Have you ever felt you could truly make a difference in someone's life?    Are you somebody who likes to develop creative ideas and be part of making positive changes?  We have an exciting leadership opportunity at The Arc  Mid-Hudson for a Residential Program Manager, supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities,  at our residence located in Kerhonkson, NY.

Cedar Ridge is located in a charming country setting, where at any given time, you can look out the window and see a plethora of animals, such as hawks, cranes, turkeys, and deer. We are located in close proximity to several horse farms and local farms.  We look for employees with patience and compassion, to support the eight people who live at Cedar Ridge. 

Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support.  This motivated leader will possess an Associates degree in Human Services or a related field, a Bachelors degree is highly desired, and will have strong organizational skills and leadership experience.  Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.  

The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment.  We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff.

HOURS:  40/Tuesday through Friday - 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm/Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm - must be flexible based on the needs of the program

STARTING SALARY:  $ 62,353.20 per year

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Supervisory experience required
• Computer skills
• Acceptable NYS Driver's license
