Information Systems (Documentation and Translation)

Description of position , daily tasks and responsibilities:

Translation aspect: Translate documentation coming from IS from English to French or vice-versa such as:

  • In-house Micro applications
  • Technical documentation
  • IS Memorandum

Documentation aspect: Create, update and maintain IS documentation (French and English) such as:

  • Procedures and policies for users and the helpdesk
  • Documentation for the IS knowledge base
  • Compile and report statistics
  • Maintain our different websites (French and English)
  • e-learning
  • Any other IS documentation

Others important aspects:

·         Administration of our compliance programs.

Other administrative duties, special projects and reports as requested or needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Knowledge/Skills: Strong bilingualism, verbal and written (English/French) is required (candidates will be tested). Knowledge of Google applications is an asset. Motivated self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to maintain thoroughness and accuracy while meeting deadlines Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Must have Interpersonal skills and strong problem-solving skills. Resourcefulness and ability to prioritize, ability to take initiative and work under pressure. Ability to multi-task. Must like Information technologies.

Other: Flexible to changing priorities and schedules.  Able and available for travel across Canada and sometimes in the United States.
