The starting wage for a Starbucks Shift Lead is $12.00 plus tips. Shift Leads are eligible for discounted travel benefits through Marriott International. Anyone working in this location is also eligible for the free C-Pass through COTA.

Position Summary:

Hotel LeVeque seeks a positive, service-oriented, and energetic Starbucks Shift Lead to join our team. The Shift Lead will work closely with the hotel’s Food & Beverage team. This position’s primary function is to serve Starbuck’s quality products to customers in a friendly and professional manner while adhering to the standards set by Starbucks, Marriott and Hotel LeVeque.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Minimum Requirements

 
  • 1 year of Starbucks experience preferred
  • Applies problem solving skills to effectively address Barista, Customer and Business problems.
  • Upholds quality standards and actively coaches others to deliver high-quality, handcrafted coffee beverages and food.
  • Holds team accountable for using operational tools and following Routines and procedures.
  • Challenges self and team to deliver store goals and expected results tied to Barista, Customer and Business.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Requires good verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Expected to regularly handle various food and beverage products.
  • Knowledge of applicable computer programs for ringing up customer orders.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Ability to stand for hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • High school or equivalent education required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional language a plus
