R&M COORDINATOR

Job Summary:

Coordinates functions between Repair and Maintenance shop, Shipping/ Receiving and Procurement by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions

  1. Acts as a liaison communicating between the Repair and Maintenance department, the Shipping / Receiving department and Procurement department
  2. Fills out Requisitions for the R&M department and delivers them to the procurement department for processing. 
  3. Tracks orders and updates the R&M department on the status of those orders
  4. Once orders have arrived, The coordinator confirms Shipping / Receiving has processed the orders and has moved them to the R&M pick up area.
  5. Informs the R&M leads and the Port Engineers that the orders are here and ready for pick up.
  6. Performs various clerical duties such as: preparing spreadsheets, filing, record keeping, data entry etc.

Education:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
