Position Overview

• Provide excellent customer service to potential donors. • Stay informed of the needs of stores and donors. • Demonstrate a helpful attitude both internally and externally. • Demonstrate excellent teamwork with a goal of constantly improve customer service and donor outcomes.



• Convert leads into donations using photo leads handling process.

• Meet standard for response time for all types of donor inquiries.

• Meet all quotas on live call and leads handling assigned by Call Center Manager on filling trucks with quality furniture for Thrift Shops.

• Using truck schedule and departmental guidelines provided by Call Center Manager, schedule donations of but not limited to; household goods, furniture, clothing and shop supplies.

• Provide excellent customer service while working closely with donors informing of them of our furniture standards (What we Take, What we Don’t Take) and scheduling pickups. When appropriate, refer to other charities.

• Learn all skills needed to cover special areas covered by Call Center: Refashion; Furniture Truck Schedule; Processing Corporate In-Kind Donations; Third-Party Movers and fill in or work on these areas as departmental needs occur.

• Provide donation receipts to all donors.

Minimum Requirements


Educational Requirements

• Excellent internal and external customer service

• Excellent verbal, listening, written, and data entry skills

• Knowledge of furniture styles and furniture values; willingness to be trained

• General understanding of trucks, dispatch/trucking departments

• Microsoft office computer skills including word, excel and outlook. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience a plus

• High School Diploma or GED
