Your Responsibilities as a Regional Health & Safety Manager:

  • Ensure Corporate Health & Safety Program is implemented consistently and correctly across assigned region.
  • Conduct site and office audits.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations including root cause analyses
  • Prepare and conduct internal training.
  • Write and review corporate and site-specific reports and programs
  • Prepare and deliver safety communications.
  • Review and comment on subcontractor safety programs.
  • Provide project compliance assistance for clients.
  • Ensure safe performance of project work.

Minimum Requirements

Experience Required:

• 3+ years’ experience in Health & Safety compliance management support in corporate office setting
• Experience with health and safety management systems (i.e. 18001/45001)
• Evaluating and implementing Health & Safety Initiatives
• Legislative changes – impact assessment
• Accident and incident recording, tracking, and investigation
• Risk assessment writing and reviewing
• Audits and Inspections – undertaking, supporting, reporting
• Ergonomic workstation assessments and recommendations
• Managing corrective and preventive actions
• Training administration
• Procedure review
• Report writing and presentation
• Preparation and presentation of monthly corporate reports to stakeholders
• Liaising at all levels of an organization and between departments
• Proficient in IT: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Access, SharePoint


• Bachelor Degree required or higher education
