Description of Duties:

The Manager of Prospect Strategy is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive system to record and monitor activities associated with moving donors and prospects along the giving continuum. This position conducts and oversees special strategic research projects, for example, data mining and electronic screenings, and interacts extensively with staff regarding prospect management, and assists with the development of strategies.

Minimum Requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of degree/experience preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in non-profit development and/or research strongly preferred
  • Extensive computer skills, including donor database (Raiser’s Edge preferred), Microsoft Office software, online searching, report creation, and Internet use
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills combined with ability to work with a wide variety of people
  • Strong analytical, logical, and organizational skills
  • Curiosity
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to ethical and confidential treatment of data
