Position Summary:

Hotel LeVeque is seeking a creative Lifestyle Executive Housekeeper to manage our housekeeping department. The ideal person would be a dynamic leader, have experience managing a housekeeping team, and know how create a fun work culture that inspires the best from their ambassadors.


Your major job responsibilities:

  • You ensure that a well-trained, highly motivated staff provide clean and styled guest rooms and public hotel space. Sound experience tells you when to let the team fly and when to guide them.
  • You assist in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counseling ambassadors.
  • You inspect rooms, closets, corridors and public space to ensure all are cleaned to the highest standard
  • You plan and schedule according to hotel occupancy and
  • You design and implement systems to ensure maximum efficiency without compromising quality.
  • You hold Stars accountable to performing their jobs to the highest level of satisfaction
  • You support your team with any necessary resources and training they require to perform at their best.
  • You ensure the department is maximizing revenue opportunities and achieving budgeted operating results.
  • You use all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to your team.
  • You promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
  • You ensure housekeeping support and storage areas are in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.
  • You model the highest possible example in conduct, temperament, attendance, punctuality, and standards of work.
  • You take on additional roles as needed.

Minimum Requirements


Why we want to hire you:

  • You have two-three years in a related hotel company position or lifestyle brand.
  • You have a high school or equivalent education.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You give us examples of how you will create a culture that promotes our brand and positions us as the top hotel in Columbus for cleanliness.
  • You have knowledge of computer programs. Preferably Marriott systems or something comparable.
  • You show good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You have a flexible schedule and are available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • You are able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • You understand the position may require standing for hours at a time.
  • You understand the position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • You have the stamina to work 50 hours or more per week
