This position will provide administrative support to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Older Adult Services (OAP) and the Senior Operations Director (SOD) of OAS. Some job duties include maintaining the AVP and SOD schedule, arranging meetings, and providing other administrative support. This position will also provide support to the OAS leadership team with on-going and special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of administrative experience required, 3+ years’ experience preferred
  • Good listening skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to change work focus
  • Incumbent must be able to maintain daily activities and routine tasks that arise
  • Able to prioritize
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and email
  • Knowledge of pertinent software utilized by LSS preferred
  • Knowledge of Older Adult and Disability Services programs preferred
  • Driver’s license
  • Reading, writing, math skills, problem-solving, ability to accept/follow through with direction.
  • Able to respond in a timely manner to the extremely varied and often urgent needs of LSS programs or outside customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and be able to change work focus frequently.
