Position Overview/Summary Description
The Fulfillment Lead/Job Coach has three core responsibilities: 1)
Processing of all orders in the online sales department, from picking to
packing to mailing orders; 2) Maintaining and reordering supplies inventory
for the Online Sales Dept; and 3) Assisting in coaching members of our
vocational internship program. All of these functions are key to the success
of our Online Sales Dept.

Essential Job Functions

Primary: • Prompt and accurate preparation and fulfillment of all mail orders which includes: creating and printing morning pick list of orders, preparing the packing table and shipping area, picking and packing orders, monitoring interns who are picking and packing orders, preparing the shipping area for the mail, scanning the mail for postage placement, and preparing for the physical pick-up of the mail • Ensuring all orders are fulfilled and shipped in a timely fashion • Maintaining inventory of Online Sales supplies, and reordering through internal purchasing department as needed, with ample lead time for deliveries • Assisting in coaching members of our vocational internship program by assigning tasks and monitoring performance as needed • Uploading daily postage manifest to online sales system to close out orders/mark as shipped

Secondary: • Troubleshooting errors with daily pick-list, or printer • Acting as primary liaison with USPS and other entities • Monitoring shelves for misplaced orders • Keeping shelves in good order

Other Functions

Other functions are required with this position include:
• Participate in at least four direction actions per year aimed at ending
the twin crises of homelessness and HIV/AIDS
• Know the Housing Works mission statement and be able to inform
and discuss

• Other duties as assigned

High School diploma or equivalency

• Computer literacy required
• Experience in databases and with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel,
etc) required
• Job coaching and/or personal/professional management experience
and/or graduate of vocational program required
• Flexibility in hours/scheduling required; including weekends, evenings,
and holidays

Minimum Requirements


Essential Physical Demands/Working Conditions
• Required to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to go up and down stairs frequently
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
• Must be able to type on a keyboard
• This position may not be performed remotely

Compensation range: $15/hr-$17/hr
