Job Summary

This is a Business Development position where you will collaborate with the Regional/Group VPs and Account Mangers to promote Access Corrections Digital Payment Solutions. The Business Development Manager is expected to be the Digital Payment Subject Matter Expert (SME). Have the ability to understand the customers current software and payment work flows, business rules and overall and needs/challenges and present a Digital Payment Solution to win the business. The candidate must be able to persuasively present the proposed solution within written proposals and face-to-face presentation. The Business Development Manager is also expected to promote a positive and ethical image to all customers and contacts.  

  • Follow fiscal sales and marketing plans 
  • Sound technical knowledge on our payment platform and its evolving capabilities and the ability to have conversations IT & Accounting professionals on solutions offered. 
  • Keeping updated on market trends and issues affecting the payments industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence. 
  • Sales experience preferred 
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation. 
  • Effectively interact with other departments such as the technical integration and account management teams when necessary in order to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to understand and apply sales concepts 
  • Ability to understand profit margins and forecasts

Minimum Requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Four year / Bachelor Degree
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Local and some overnight travel required

Associated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.
  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and situations.
  • Able to prioritize workload on a daily basis.
  • Positive up-beat attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating effectively between department

  • Knowledge of ecommerce, retail, or payment industry, and genuine interest in digital, mobile commerce and innovation is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. Experience with Sales Force, or similar CRM a plus.
