R. J. Corman Switching Company is currently seeking Train Crew Members in Santa Teresa, NM

Train Crew / Laborers will perform switching, equipment maintenance, and other duties associated with maintaining an efficient switching operation.  Work schedule is full time and hours may vary according to customer needs (Operations are 24/7).

 

Minimum Requirements

 

 

Required Specialized/Technical Knowledge/Education/Experience and Skills:

  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Equipment maintenance as needed
  • Willing to work flexible hours
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ability to work safely as a team
  • Ensure working conditions are safe, and proper PPE is being used as required before starting any work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires constant standing, walking, climbing ladders, and balancing on equipment in a safe manner
  • Able to perform physical strenuous work
  • Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Able to navigate and work in confined spaces

Environmental Conditions: Must be able to perform specified duties outside in all weather conditions.

Major or Unusual Problems: A rapidly expanding company requires employees to be flexible with altering operating schedules. One must also expect physical work in inclement weather.

Job Dimensions: Must be able to perform duties under direct supervision, when given general direction with limited discretion. This position does not require supervision of fellow employees.
