First Hospitality is looking for an energetic, service-oriented, and attentive craft bartender to join our team. Experience and/or training as a bartender is required. Most importantly, we are looking for a passionate individual to create unique experiences for our guests.

What your job entails:

  • Set up bar and service stations, and retrieve liquor based on requisition
  • Greet and engage guests, providing service in bar/lounge areas
  • Prepare cocktails and other beverages to specification, honoring guest requests
  • Prepare cocktails and other beverages for servers in bar/lounge/restaurant areas
  • Remain attentive to guest needs, and work proactively to meet those needs
  • Maintain positive team dynamic with servers, bar backs, and other associates
  • Manage bar and server checks in computerized system
  • Balance cash and account for all transactions
  • Perform closing duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

 
  • Experience or training as a bartender required
  • Thorough knowledge of beverages, cocktail mixology, preparation methods, glassware, and bar equipment required
  • Strong service focus with desire to meet all guest expectations and needs
  • Basic computer and cash handling skills
  • Must work well in team environment
  • You must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to stand for hours at a time.
  • You understand this job requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Able to lift 30+ pounds
  • Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • BASSETT certification required
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Previous bartending experience required
