Job Summary: Boaters Serving Boaters! Go2marine was founded by, and is still run by seasoned boaters. For over 50 years, LFS, Inc. (Go2marine/LFS Marine and Outdoor) has been outfitting and providing marine repair parts and boating products for a wide variety of boaters. We are looking for a great team member to help our e-Commerce division with the following:

Essential Functions:

  • Update inventory, product cost and product catalog information for e-Commerce catalogs.
  • Write articles regarding boating and outdoor products
  • Answer customer questions and take phone orders 
  • Help process orders and other customer service duties
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment 
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office and able to work proficiently in Excel  
  • Proficiency with the internet, e-commerce and with a PC 
  • Must be able to read and write English 
  • Nice to have background in catalog management and / or marketing 
  • Boat maintenance and boating experience a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

One year experience required in catalog management or marketing. Boat maintenance and boating experience a plus.

Education:

Associate Degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Training/Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, spreadsheet software, word processing software, order processing systems and presentation software. Knowledge of inventory management is a plus.

Work Environment:

This job takes place in your home or a corporate office setting. The noise level is usually low.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use a phone and a computer.
