Edgewood’s two senior living communities in Cheyenne are looking for a full-time, part-time, or PRN Occupational Therapist, to help our residents maintain, improve, and thrive day-to-day in their home environment, wherever it is they call home! The perfect candidate will serve as an integral part of the CaringEdge team, the health services division of Edgewood Healthcare. 

We’re looking for someone dedicated to the delivery of effective, evidenced-based clinical practice with a focus on geriatric care provided through outpatient therapy.   • Develop a written plan of care specific to each patient and implement therapy services based on that plan of care. 
  • Initiate occupational therapy program and instruct other personnel in certain phases of occupational therapy with which they may work with a patient, as well as instructing them as to the goals of the occupational therapy program for the patient by participating in case conferences. 
  • Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals. 
  • Participate in peer consultation process. 
  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants according to organization policy and state regulations. 
  • Potential to function as the therapy director, based on experience, if applicable 

Minimum Requirements



You would be a great addition to our team if you possess the following: 

  • Masters in occupational therapy approved by an accredited organization. 
  • Licensed to practice as occupational therapist within the state. 
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Compassionate with good communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
