Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour + per hour depending on qualifications

Hours: Part-time, up to 25 hours per week

Do you enjoy cooking? Do you want to have fun at work? Join the Y team as a Cook at Camp Seymour! 

As one of our amazing Cooks, you will prepare food and meals to nourish the YMCA campers at Camp Seymour! Our Cooks also clean and stock the kitchen, serve meals, put food away, and are also part of making sure Camp Seymour is an amazing experience for every camper! 

Are you a good fit?

  • You want to have fun at work.
  • You have experience in food preparation.
  • You have a current food handler’s certificate.
  • You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • You are able to learn and practice the safe and correct operation of kitchen equipment.
  • Able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention training and other online or in-person training as required.

 

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

Per Governor Inslee's Proclamation 21-14.1, individuals that work in an educational setting must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious exemption is received and approved. As a condition of employment, newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination.
