Description

 
  • Support in the implementation of social media paid campaigns:
  • Coordinate with various departments to build Facebook ad campaigns for non-marketing initiatives
  • Set metrics and track progress of campaigns and provide final report results for projects including recommendation for the following season or next campaign
  • Advancing CRM target list request to support Facebook event response and advertiser access campaigns
  • Work closely with copy writers to advance advertising and evergreen copy (i.e. lookbacks, TBT)
  • Support in creating a content calendar for all social platforms, support creative development scheduling. Coordinate with archival, editorial, and creative services to secure assets (images, video and copy)
  • Design original content from conception to final execution for brand initiatives,

evergreen content, concert promotion, infographics, announcements, and archival lookbacks

  • Use Illustrator and Canva templates to develop and create social media graphics for upcoming concerts for all venues and artists, collaborating with Creative Services to unify campaign look
  • Keep graphics up to date when new artist photos or information is presented
  • Create motion graphics, moving quote cards, and animated announcements in After Effects or Canva to keep content interesting on various social platforms
  • Communicate with artists and artist team to deliver dedicated social graphics and required tags, hashtags, and suggested copy
  • Brainstorm with other teams and social agencies to come up with content buckets and experiential campaigns for social, creating FOMO and highlighting the experience of attending an LA Phil venue
  • Support Philanthropy and Humanities through various social campaigns
  • Assist other departments such as Advertising and Direct Mail with any quick graphics or changes for artwork or assets
  •  Hires and manages freelance artists, influencers, and writers to create content and promote concerts

•   Collaborate with artist teams and agents to set up social media campaigns and dark ads

  • Attend events and post appropriate social media content in real time or coordinate with other departments to receive social media content. Events may be offsite and include rehearsals, community concerts, photo/video shoots, community initiatives, and collaborations
  • Work as part of a team that regularly monitors patron messages and inquiries on social, to proactively address patron questions or customer facing concerns
  • Collaborate as the day-to-day community manager across LA Phil channels, including responding and monitoring the Phil’s social media channels on assigned days
  • Identify and create relationships with social influencers as well as other community managers across the classical music, City of Los Angeles, and live entertainment communities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

 
  • Innovative and creative thinker with strong writing and storytelling skills with a minimum of 3 years experience working in social media.
  • Deep knowledge of current and upcoming social media platforms and proven experience building and managing content calendars, large-scale communities and partner relationships
  • Understanding of how social media fits within the marketing and communications mix as well as knowledge of other marketing disciplines
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communications, and active listening skills
  • Ability to adapt tone both verbally and visually for social content across different venues
  • Working business knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, and YouTube along with apps that assist on content editing such as Mojo, In-Shot, Pixaloop, etc.
  • Experience utilizing Community Management & Analytic tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later and Brand24 a plus
  • Dedication and commitment to engage in and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the staff, vendors, and within interactions with the surrounding community is a must
  • Secondary language fluency is a plus

This position will require you to interact with employees, patrons, vendors and others who may or may not be vaccinated or recently tested.
