Do you like maintaining a clean and pleasing appearance at your place of work? Are you a hands-on individual? The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is looking for an individual who enjoys working in a positive and natural environment, and who is willing to learn and grow their skill sets.

As Custodian at Camp Seymour you will work with our facilities team to perform the necessary functions and activities required to keep the facility clean inside and outside such as upkeep of the building, operating cleaning equipment, and following all safety protocols.

  • You are able to read, write, and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
  • You are able to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention and Blood Borne Pathogen training on your first day of employment and other online or in-person training as required.


Starting Wage: $16.80+ per hour, depending on qualifications

Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week

COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT

Per Governor Inslee's Proclamation 21-14.1, individuals that work in an educational setting must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious exemption is received and approved. As a condition of employment, newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination.
