RAFC Lifeguard (on-call)
Overview
Description
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Manager or Aquatics Coordinator, the Lifeguard provides excellent customer service while maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck and surrounding areas. The Lifeguard creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with the Rosen Aquatic Center policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 6 months of lifeguard experience as well as the following required certifications:
- Current Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Certification
- Current Basic Life Support and First AID (American Safety and Health Institute),
- First AID and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (Red Cross)
