LFS WAREHOUSE WORKER 2

LFS, Inc. was established in 1967 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Trident Seafoods. Our corporate headquarters is in Bellingham, WA and we have three year-round locations in Washington State: Bellingham, Seattle, and Poulsbo. LFS also has five year-round locations in Alaska: Anchorage, Cordova, Dutch Harbor, Homer (Kachemak Gear Shed), and Sitka; and three seasonal locations in Kenai, Dillingham and Naknek. While our core business is supplying the commercial fishing industry, we have evolved to include industrial and sports netting sales, hydraulic sales and services, wholesale/industrial sales, recreational marine and outdoor sales, and internet sales.

Job Summary:  Looking for experienced warehouse worker to help in fast based distribution center:

Essential Functions:

• Physical, fast paced environment
• Complete tasks accurately and quickly, stays on task
• High level of comprehension for assigned area of warehouse
• Displays high ability to learn and perform warehouse tasks with minor direction.
• Comes in ready to work every day, has exceptional attendance
• Needs limited direction and can identify the priorities within familiar tasks
• Displays excellent communication with peers, supervisors and management
• Maintains safe and clean work environment
• Able to effectively work and aid in other warehouse operations
• Forklift certified

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Pay range is $19-$21 per hour. 

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); have mastered all Level 1 skills.

Preferred education and experience:

Must be forklift certified; can operate all warehouse equipment.

Must have valid US issued Driver’s License

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects, regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds.
