Summary:

The change manager will play a key role in ensuring S.C.U.B.A. (Supply Chain Unlimited Business Acceleration) projects meet objectives on time and on budget. The primary responsibility will be working with the Senior Change Manager to create and implement change management strategies and communications to maximize employee adoption and usage to minimize resistance. The change manager will assist in increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of outcomes.

The change manager provides coaching to managers as they help direct reports through transitions. The change manager assures integration of change management activities into project plans. This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The change manager will:

  • Trident Seafood’s methodology and change management activities - Apply Trident’s change management process and tools to support adoption of changes.
  • Communication - Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
  • Change readiness and impact - Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Training - Provide input and assistance in the design and delivery of training.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Change management assessments; identifying, analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Draft communication, coaching, training, resistance management plans, and sponsor roadmaps
  • Assist in defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress

Minimum Requirements

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of, or willingness to learn, how people go through a change
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) to articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others toward a common vision or goal
  • Organized with a natural inclination for action
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Change management certification or designation desired
