Administrative and Support



Provides superior customer service by supporting management with timely data entry and communication with various departments, in order to ensure that Trident Seafoods Corporation customers are receiving quality products and services.

NOTE: This position will be located in a facility in Tacoma, WA.

Essential Functions: 

  1. Works closely with warehouse personnel
  2. Strong data entry background with essential computer experience a must
  3. Creating shipping labels via UPS and/or FEDEX
  4. Uses excellent organizational and filing techniques
  5. Prioritizes and organizes assigned tasks
  6. Handles multiple tasks in a timely manner
  7. Utilizes strong communication, oral and written
  8. Maintains inventory in a timely and accurate manner
  9. Accountable for accurate inventory, inventory locations and inventory-related functions
  10. Assist and support the Supply Chain Team
  11. Research and resolve material related problems
  12. Participate in implementing strategic plans for process improvement
  13. Maintain work areas according to 5S principles on a daily basis
  14. Has working knowledge of HACCP and CCP’s
  15. Carries out instructions given by immediate supervisor
  16. Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  17. Reports all personnel related issues to immediate supervisor
  18. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies

Minimum Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  N/A

Special Training/Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, spreadsheet software, word processing software and presentation software.

Work Environment: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May occasionally be required to work short periods on the dock or inside the freezer

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Mental Activities:   
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, speak, write, and understand English, and use customer service skills. The employee is frequently required to use interpersonal and teamwork skills.  The employee will be occasionally required to use decision making skills, creativity, independent judgment, discretion, problem solving analysis and supervision skills.
