Trident Seafoods Corporation is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in support of Trident’s Alaska Operations.  The Administrative Assistant will provide support to two Vice Presidents.  They will assist in daily office needs and manage general administrative activities.  This will include calendar management, travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools; Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point) and office equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing Support to two Vice Presidents for our Alaska Operations.
  • Managing and Monitoring schedules and meeting requests.
  • Assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities for Alaska Operations.
  • Managing phone calls, voice messages & following up with requests.
  • Coordinating complex travel planning that will include:
    • Airfare, hotels, logistics
    • Meetings, Reservations
    • Specific arrangements, necessary documentation
  • Preparing and Processing monthly expense reports.
  • Assist with approving the team expenses and timesheet requests.
  • Supports meeting presentations and preparations.
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties

Additional Responsibilities: 

Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Requirements



  • 2 + years’ of experience in a business office or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Strong written communication & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. 
  • Problem-solving: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Additional skills & qualifications organization, time management, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
