The GLOBAL SUPPORT, INVENTORY ADMINISTRATOR acts as liaison between various departments, salespeople and customers to facilitate communication and expedite inventory transactions, allocation, transfer orders, as well as some customer order and invoicing processes. 

Essential Functions

  1. Facilitates warehouse to warehouse transfer order movement and receipt, interacts with TMS / Traffic Department to facilitate movement.
  2. Conducts reconciliation of  third party storage inventory against system inventory information.
  3. Assists in inventory management, performs various inventory research and resulting transactions.
  4. Fields calls from internal and external customers and problem solves as necessary to address concerns.
  5. Organizes and maintains department Sharepoint site, oversight of online file system.
  6. Monitors specific categories of shipments for quick and efficient customer invoicing.
  7. Uses critical thinking and communication skills to expedite solutions among various parties involved in related ERP system processes.
  8. Performs various special projects in support of Global Sales and Support groups, duties assigned as needed
  9. Maintains departmental distribution lists.
  10. Creates correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
  11. Supports  preparation of  courier packages, using Fed Ex, DHL and other necessary websites, audits related invoices for payment.
  12. Provides back-up coverage to reception staff during absences.

Minimum Requirements



- 3 years or more of administrative work experience required.

- Excellent customer service skills required.

- Ability to meet multiple tasks/projects deadlines with changing priorities while maintaining a professional attitude.

- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication ability.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, spreadsheet software, word processing software and presentation software. Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. 

Special Training/Skills:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 

- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
