Under the direction of the Procurement Manager P2P & Compliance and in collaboration with Corporate Procurement, provides day to day system support for Procurement processes in enterprise ERP and Procurement Systems. The Procurement Systems Specialist is responsible for Procurement System implementation, training, new supplier setup and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as Corporate Procurement dedicated resource and functional subject matter expert for Procurement System methodology and implementation.
  • Prepares required documents to support training needs
  • Identifies areas of training needed, schedules and conducts required training.
  • Assists in leading technology and P2P process improvement and integration projects as assigned.
  • Acts as a liaison between Corporate Procurement, IT, Business Support, Operations, Internal Audit, Accounts Payable, External Suppliers, and other Internal Customers.
  • Assists Procurement Managers, Directors and VP with information gathering, project investigation and system issue resolution as assigned.
  • Will assist and backup other Procurement personnel in the new supplier setup and maintaining the Purchase Order Supplier Database.
  • Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.

  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

Minimum Requirements




  • Experience with SAP Procurement Module implementation
  • Conducts training in one-on-one and small group settings is highly preferred.
  • Supplier onboarding experience preferred.
  • Comminucation using Microsoft Team is required.


  •  2-year degree and 3-5 years related experience; or a 4-year degree and 2-3 years experience preferred. 
  • Educational focus on Enterprise Resource Planning Systems with an emphasis on a Processing or Manufacturing Environment.


  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence business partners throughout an organization.
  • Strong understanding of Procurement processes and policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Possess good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Naturally a self-starter and results-oriented.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
