Description
Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic will operate, repair and maintain a variety of machinery and mechanical equipment including engines, motors, pneumatic and conveyor systems, gears, hydraulics and other machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Level I:
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance according to schedule and direction.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and applying precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Lubricates and cleans parts, equipment and machinery..
- Uses hand and power tools in a safe manner.
- Learns and follows all safety procedures and Trident Protocols.
Additional Responsibilities (all levels):
- Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
- Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings
Minimum Requirements
Level I – Basic knowledge and proficiency with tools and equipment, a minimum of three months of related experience or training.
