The Service Center Manager leads a team providing transactional support to Trident’s core operations landing, processing, and shipping seafood for our Alaskan Shore Plant’s Operations. The Manager selects, trains, and retains administrative staff.  The position, located at our Anchorage AK Administrative Support Center, ensures the accurate and timely completion of production orders, material movements, purchase orders, and goods receipts by assigned staff.  The Manager also monitors supporting systems for proper function.



  • Manages the day-to-day operation of the Administrative Support Center.
  • Leads a team processing production and purchasing related transactions.
  • Owns the development and training of assigned staff.
  • Monitors processes assigned to the Administrative Support Center for timeliness and accuracy.  Ensures accuracy of supporting systems.
  • Monitors the Administrative Center spending and prepares the annual budget.
  • Monitors Innova, POS systems, Catch Manager, EAM, and other boundary system interfaces for proper function.
  • Leads seasonal review of key manufacturing performance data.
  • Reviews, approves, or escalates process exceptions and monitors process deviations.
  • Reviews and approves transactions initiated by assigned team as required by Trident internal control standards.
  • Takes on ad hoc reports and a variety of special ‘one-off’ analytical projects.


Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions 
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

Minimum Requirements




  • 3+ years people leadership in a high transaction environment.
  • 3+ years experience completing purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, shipping and/or other key transactions supporting a large manufacturing/transportation organization
  • Experience with an ERP system, such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or SAP (preferred)
  • Experience monitoring EDI feeds and reconciling errors
  • Database (BI design, SQL, Access) experience preferred



  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. 


Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong people management skills w/ experience managing hourly employees
  • Strong system skills
  • High level cross-functional communication
  • Manufacturing and/or food Industry experience preferred
  • SAP MM, Innova, and Ceridian experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
