The SAP/ERP Organizational Change Management Leader will take full responsibility for overseeing the SAP OCM team and all change management initiatives associated with the SAP implementation. 

The Change Management Leader will play a pivotal role in setting priorities, increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI by measuring adoption, usage, and proficiency on organizational change. The Change Manager provides training and coaching to change leaders to help them lead direct reports through transitions.

Key Functions:

  • Defines overall OCM strategy for SAP and leads delivery efforts for each facet of OCM, including executive alignment, stakeholder analysis and communication, gap analysis and planning, readiness assessments, journey mapping, change impacts identification and management.
  • Implements Trident Seafood’s change management methodology and activities - Apply Trident’s change management process and tools to accelerate adoption of changes.
  • Acts as a coach for senior leaders by helping them fulfill their roles as change sponsors.
  • Assesses organizational change management gaps and needs to ensure sustainability of new SAP system and related business processes.
  • Leverages data from assessments, stakeholder interviews, and cross-collaboration meetings to develop change strategies leading to successful change initiatives.
  • Develops and delivers the overall communication strategy and plan; includes creating and delivery of internal and external communications, messages, and supporting materials.
  • Develops and delivers the overall project training strategy and plan; includes identifying and leveraging subject matter experts, identifying and addressing training gaps, and ensuring the quality and success of training.
  • Develops a long-term sustainability strategy to ensure new systems, processes and behaviors are successful and continuous.
  • Conducts audit and compliance checks to ensure effective execution and adoption using change tools to ensure project deliverables are on-time and on-budget.
  • Manages and leads the SAP OCM team, leveraging individual and team strengths; articulates and drives project and team priorities, goals, and expectations. Ensures deliverables are met, internally within the team, and externally within Trident.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Provides input and assistance in the design and delivery of training and communications.
  • Collaborates effectively with multiple stakeholders and groups to increase alignment.
  • Champions innovative and creative ideas to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • Assists in building awareness of change management, “people side”, project management.
  • Works cross-functionally and cross-departmentally to ensure alignment on goals, expectations, and priorities.
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions 
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings
  • Performs additional or similar duties as directed


Minimum Requirements




  • At least 10 years’ experience in OCM roles, supporting system and business process transformation change.
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing a team.
  • SAP/ERP Implementation experience strongly desired

Minimum Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Management, or related field
  • PROSCI Change Management certification strongly desired


  • Proven ability to identify and translate requirements for change management into clear and measurable work products
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Passion for developing creative ways to optimize engagement and learning, and proven experience applying innovative and creative solutions to drive change adoption
  • Strategic thinker with a systemic view.  Can anticipate and get ahead of obstacles.
  • Proven leadership / management background leading teams.
  • Brings a deep understanding of human behavior at the individual level, team, and organizational level, ands leverages this understanding to drive organizational change.  Can orchestrate change methodologies using “pull” versus “push” methods. 
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (written & verbal) to articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Strong emotional and social intelligence.
  • Excellent engagement, relationship building, and expectation management skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels across a diverse and global environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with a natural inclination for action
  • Problem-solving and root cause identification skills
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Highly motivated, positive individual who can follow through and work with minimal direction or supervision
