 LFS, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trident Seafoods.  LFS has locations in Bellingham, Seattle and Poulsbo, WA and Anchorage, Cordova, Dutch Harbor, Homer, Kenai, Sitka, Naknek and Dillingham, AK.

Job Summary: Receives, investigates and responds to web customer inquiries regarding shipments, products and complaints by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions:

  • Update inventory, product cost and product catalog information for e-Commerce catalogs
  • Answer customer questions and take phone orders
  • Process orders and ship product
  • Responds to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Receives checks and responds to customer feedback.
  • Informs customer of shipping dates, anticipated delays, returns and any additional information needed by customer.
  • Approves, processes, changes or cancels orders as necessary.
  • Knowledge of boating parts and accessories is helpful

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

One year experience required in customer service, warehousing, administrative or sales environment.

Education:

High School degree or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

Special Training/Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, spreadsheet software, word processing software, order processing systems, presentation software, and inventory management is a plus. Nice to have skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Ability to use Windows 7 or 10, customer service, phone skills. Preferred skills: Boat Repair and Maintenance knowledge.

This job takes place in an office environment. The noise level is moderate.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand or sit.
