Summary: The Sales Representative is responsible for acting as the main point of contact between Trident and its customers. This role will focus on building relationships with existing customers, identifying sales opportunities, and converting leaders into sales. This role will have a unique opportunity to train with multiple areas of the business for the first six to nine months to ensure they understand our products, business model, processes, and value proposition.

  • Presents, promotes, negotiates, and sells products to existing and prospective customers, leveraging in-depth product knowledge.
  • Performs cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains strong business and customer relationships.
  • Pursues customer leads through phone calls.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by providing a timely response to inquiries and expediting the resolution of issues or complaints.
  • Achieves established sales targets and outcomes.
  • Analyzes the respective territory and/or market’s potential, track sales, and provides status reports.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Stays up to date on industry best practices and promotional trends.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $68k to $72k.

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in Seattle for up to the first six to nine months.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, up to 50%.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, passionate about driving success and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Preferred education and experience

  •  Prior experience working in sales.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices.


Additional eligibility requirements (language skills, training, certifications, DL, licensing):

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license.

Work environment (includes travel/on-call):

This role will be required to be based in the Seattle office for up to the first six to nine months. Work takes place in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels and adequate lighting. This role will be required to travel to customer locations, up to 50%.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
