Summary:  The Warehouse Lead is responsible for coordinating and executing the daily functions of the Shipping and Receiving Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Matches inbound truck BOL with the corresponding Trident Receiving document.
  • Creates labels for inbound products and enters data from incoming product into receiving logs, as well as entering it into the Trident Inventory System.
  • Maintains accuracy and integrity of the inventory in the warehouse, by thoroughly checking work and ensuring no mistakes or typos occurred.
  • Creates outbound BOL using Trident shipping program.
  • Enters outbound product information, truck information, and all other pertaining information into outbound shipment logs.
  • Communicates Daily Work Loads with Team Member
  • Understands and is able to differentiate specific customers while remembering customer specific requirements for shipments.
  • Maintains proper and professional e-mail and phone etiquette.
  • Data Entry and supporting Inventory System data (will train on program/process)

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must have strong ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to work both on your own, and in a team environment.
  • Understands and differentiates bins, batches, and item numbers.
  • Strong Organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in similar food industry warehouse positions preferred.
  • Experience in SAP, Bartender, Excel, and/or Customer Service preferred.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and speak clearly and directly while maintaining a level of customer service.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $20.00 to $25.00.
