Summary: The Resident Services Support team member will flex between cleaning rooms and halls throughout the facilities as well as preparing and serving buffet style meals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assists in meal preparation and food service as indicated on the menu or as assigned.

· Always maintains a clean working environment.

· Responsible for cleaning kitchen, kitchen equipment, and all dishes, tables, and floors.

· Restocks and cleans beverage machines and condiments on a regular basis.

· Responsible for basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning and stocking bathrooms and other common areas.

· Assists in laundering employee clothing and work attire.

· Cleans storage rooms, bathrooms, offices, corridors, processing areas, and stairways.

· Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.

· Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, and dusts furniture.

· Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.

· Empties and cleans wastebaskets, outdoor ashtrays and transports trash and waste to disposal areas.

· Cleans and replenishes bathroom supplies and replaces light bulbs.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.

· Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

· Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before

· Food Handler’s card; required within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in housekeeping or food service industry preferred.

· HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.)

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee moves objects

  • regularly up to 10 pounds
  • frequently up to 25 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
