Summary: Trident is looking for a Business Analyst to assist with support of our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This person must be familiar with the configuration and support of an enterprise asset management solution including equipment maintenance management, and MRO end to end processes including requisitions, purchase orders, maintenance work orders, maintenance repair plans, and system integrations.

This role is critical to our organization and requires a quick study. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, disciplined, provide creative solutions, and quickly adapt to changing situations. 

Job Functions:

  • The responsible person will play a key role in both implementation and production support activities
  • The analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, data mapping, developing, testing, documenting processes as well as looking for opportunities to improve business processes
  • Performs application and integration testing to ensure system produces correct results
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve day to day end user and system issues
  • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion

Additional Responsibilities: Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned

Minimum Requirements

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or technical related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in technical or plant maintenance improvement projects or other relevant experience
  • Experience supporting and implementing Enterprise applications

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of best practices
  • Experience implementing and supporting Tier 1 or 2 EAM solutions like IBM Maximo or Infor EAM
  • Expertise with system integrations
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages such as SQL, XML, Python and Groovy preferred
  • Proficient with Office 365 Applications
  • Familiarity with Reporting and BI tools like Power BI or Cognos
  • Experience with Project Management methodologies; Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid

  • Ability to negotiate with users and stakeholders and resolve internal and external conflicts

Additional Software Experience a plus:

  • Infor EAM

Work Environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment, which may include possible travel, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Mental Abilities: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use customer service skills. The employee is frequently required to utilize interpersonal, teamwork, and basic programming skills. The employee is occasionally required to use decision makings skills, creativity, independent judgment, discretion, problem analysis, and supervision.
